Dr. Katy Morter is a chiropractor, educator, and wellness advocate who believes the body has an incredible capacity to heal when it feels safe, supported, and properly aligned. As the owner of Morter Wellness in Bentonville, Arkansas, she specializes in gentle, low-force chiropractic care designed to calm the nervous system and address the root causes of pain, stress, and dysfunction.
Dr. Katy integrates a unique blend of techniques including upper-cervical and low-force chiropractic methods, Applied Kinesiology, BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique (emotional balancing), cold laser therapy, radial shockwave therapy, trigger-point and fascial work, and therapeutic exercise. Her approach is especially well-suited for individuals who are sensitive, overwhelmed, or frustrated by chronic or recurring issues—and for those seeking care that goes beyond “just an adjustment.”
She has a special interest in the connection between posture, the stress (sympathetic) nervous system, and unresolved emotional or physical trauma. Dr. Katy is passionate about educating patients on how stress—past and present—can show up in the body, and how gentle, intentional care can restore balance and resilience over time.
Dr. Katy also enjoys teaching, writing, and creating educational resources for her community, and she is currently developing content exploring posture, stress, and subconscious nervous system patterns. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and continuing her lifelong pursuit of learning and growth.
